Body Fat Measurement

Latest measurements as follows with previous two months:

Aug / Sep / Oct

Chest: 6.0 / 7.3 / 7.0 mm
Ab: 16.0 / 19.0 / 17.3 mm
Thigh: 6.0 / 8.0 / 6.0 mm
BF%: 9.8 / 11.7 / 10.5

So, still not quite back to pre-fishing trip numbers, but I'll take the decrease.


  1. The food and liquid that our body takes play a vital role in gaining body fat. One efficient way to burn it is to work out the whole body during the whole week. This way, the more energy consumed the most likely to shed off the body fat.

  2. FBF, thanks for checking in. I think nutrition plays the dominant role in maintaining proper weight. Like they say "you can't exercise away a poor diet." Granted, exercise is important as well. But Taubes discussions in Good Calories, Bad Calories indicates that our system is more complex than the energy balance argument.
